NovoTHOR is an exciting new development in the field of cold laser therapy due to its ability to deliver a full body treatment in 15 minutes.
We have just installed it in our Potts Point location (https://healthspaceclinics.com.au/locations/kings-cross) which makes it available 6 days a week from early till late. The NovoTHOR is suited to patients with pain and/or inflammation that is widespread (i.e. requires lengthy treatment) as well as for patients with all body conditions such as fibromyalgia or CRPS. We also see application for those returning from surgery and or sporting activities (i.e. recovery) due to the systemic effects of cold laser. The pod delivers 630nm, 660nm and 850nm wavelengths which is a mix of red and near-infrared.
The reason why cold laser can “do all these things” is due to the fact it does the same thing across all conditions – it reduces oxidative stress apparent in stressed cells and helps the mitochondria produce more ATP energy.
